Who does not know Bagelen Bread? I used to think this breadincluding imported food was the origin of this bread of Purworejo.
Bread that is traditionally derived from Purworejo, Central Java,began to show off. Sales have been many who entered the supermarket with attractive packaging.

Bagelen, in fact, is the name of a region in Purworejo, Central Java.But, then, that name becomes the name of a popular type of drybread. The reason, of course, because many of craft used inBagelen dry bread. They call the bread “blogging contest”.

However, after expanding into different areas, called”shoot-blogging” is replaced with the name Bagelen. Since then, a round Bagelen Roti (bread on the burger) or oblong often found inmarkets or dry food stalls outside Purworejo, such as Yogyakartaand Solo even to exit the island of Java. Making any, has been doneby outside entrepreneurs Purworejo.
